The annual “unsanctioned” event – Float Down – on the St. Clair River is held the 3rd Sunday in August each year.  The 2023 event is scheduled for August 20.  Floaters enter the water just north of the Blue Water Bridge and float down on rafts to the city of Marysville.

***The St. Clair River is CLOSED for ALL MOTORIZED VESSEL TRAFFIC during this event from approximately noon to 8pm.  End time can vary depending on how many participants are on the river.
