Harsens Island Turkey Shoot

Annual Harsens Island Lions Club Turkey Shoot is held the weekend of Labor Day – Friday-Sunday September 4-6.

There is a large annual boat parade which runs along the South Channel of Harsens Island that you should not miss either!  Usually starts around 10am and can be viewed from Sans Souci Bar on Harsens Island… and then you may see this end along the Algonac Boardwalk around noon.

Weekend features trap shooting for frozen turkeys, food, games for kids, bingo, raffles, and often an antique boat parade, serving as a major community fundraiser with events for all ages at the Lions Field. It’s a multi-day event with competitive and practice shooting, running from Friday through Labor Day Monday, with details found on the website Lions Club’s e-Clubhouse and Facebook page.
