Record Height Flagpole for New Baltimore Waterfront Coming

Record Height Flagpole for New Baltimore Waterfront ComingRecord Height Flagpole for New Baltimore Waterfront Coming this summer for a new boating landmark!

As many boaters now realize, the water tower landmark for the town of New Baltimore was torn down July 2015.

Because of its significance to the boating community, the New Baltimore Lions’ Club has offered $10,000 toward a new flag & pole to be erected at the foot of the Walter & Mary Burke waterfront park, where the new free city docks are located.

The new flagpole will be 150′ tall … the same height as the original water tower! This will be the tallest flag in Michigan! The actual flag will be around 40′ x 60′.

The New Baltimore Lions Club is asking for our support. $65,000 is needed to purchase and install this new record height flagpole. As mentioned above, the Lions are donating $10,000. If only half of the Lake St. Clair Guide readers donate at least $5.00 by April, the flag will be dedicated on Memorial day.

Easy! To donate with credit card, here is a direct link for the fundraiser:
