Where is Gull Island on Lake St. Clair? The popular boat anchorage area at the mouth of the Shipping Channel is home to the annual first boat event of the year, Jobbie Nooner.
GPS coordinates to get you close by are: N42 32 17.012 and W82 40 35.884
With higher water levels on Lake St. Clair, the island is rather small. With lower lake levels, there is a nice sandy beach and people camp on the island.
From a distance, it is easy to see the island by looking for the South Channel Rangle Lites close to Gull Island.
