Bass, Brews, & BBQ Festival / FLW Tour at Lake St. Clair Metropark this Weekend

The national professional fishermen of the 2018 FLW Tour at Lake St. Clair presented by Mercury starts Thursday with fun-filled public events Friday June 29-Sunday at Lake St. Clair Metropark.  Here is the general schedule:

Thursday – Sunday  FLW Tournament:  6:30 a.m. Anglers depart Lake St. Clair Metropark, 31300 Metropolitan Parkway, Harrison Township, MI

Friday/Saturday/Sunday:  12:00 noon opens the BBQ & other food vendors / Beer Tent / Music

Weigh- In Thursday/Friday @ 3:15

Weigh-In Saturday/Sunday @ 4:00

Up to $125,000 cash in the pro division and up to $25,000 cash in the co-angler division will be awarded on Sunday.

The Bass, Brews, & BBQ Festival portion runs from Friday June 29 – July 1 and allows guests to arrive before the weigh in and enjoy:

• Craft beer
• Live music
• BBQ and other delicious food
• Tours aboard the “Pride of Michigan,” an 81-foot former US Navy training vessel
• Tours of the DIA Away (a fully furnished, vibrantly designed 53′ double-expandable trailer that provides a rich educational program beyond the museum’s walls)
• Metroparks Interpretive Exhibit
• Vendors displaying their offerings
• Family fun and more!

The Bass, Brews, & BBQ Festival / 2018 FLW Tour Event on Lake St. Clair is open to the public and there is no cost for admission. Festival hours are Friday from Noon – 6 pm, Saturday from Noon -7 and Sunday from Noon- 6 pm. The Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Make Macomb Your Home, Detroit Sports Commission, Huron-Clinton Metroparks and NASH FM 93.1 Detroit to bring us this terrific festival.
