Cruising Jobbie Nooner at Gull Island 2015
Yes, it was Jobbie Nooner at Gull Island yesterday …. Whether you approve or disapprove of the premise to this annual Lake St. Clair “Mardi Gras” style party, you have to admit it’s really exciting just to see all the boats and people surrounding one tiny little island.
According to Sergeant Don Berg of the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Marine Division …. “For the most part, everyone behaved themselves. However, there were some arrests. One big problem that continues to happen year after year is people are just left behind to find a ride back and some people just plain forget where they left their boats. The captain of the ship/boat is responsible for their passengers.”
Gull Island is located at the end of the South Channel which feeds Lake St. Clair.
