With the continuing downward trend in water levels, there are different areas where you may experience "Lake St. Clair Low Water Hazards".

The Freedom Boat Club is sponsoring a Hazard Mitigation Team where these obstructions which appear during low water times will be posted.

Areas where old dock poles may now be exposed, underwater islands now within your boat draft, old seawalls & barriers will be marked or mentioned as these occur around Lake St. Clair's Hazard Mitigation Team's facebook page.  Also when you join this page, you may offer photos of hazards you have witnessed to help all of the areas boaters stay safe!
