What, Where & When is Jobbie Nooner 2026 at Gull Island on Lake St. Clair?  This popular boat anchorage swim area at the mouth of the Shipping Channel is home to the annual first boat event of the year late June.

The 2026 date for Jobbie Nooner #1 is Friday June 26.  IF there is a rain out, the Tiki Barge traditionally the center of the party will be at Gull Island on Saturday.  You can check their Tiki Barge Facebook page here.

Jobbie Nooner #2 is Saturday September 2, 2026.  This all day party occurs twice a year.  Jobbie Nooner is the last Friday in June and Jobbie Nooner Two is the first Saturday after Labor Day.

Water levels on Lake St. Clair appear to be dropping, so the island normally rather small, may revert back to a decade ago where a nice sandy beach emerges and people camp on the island.

From a distance, it is easy to see the island by looking for the South Channel Range Lites close to Gull Island.
